THE BAPTISM IN THE RIVER JORDAN
(Fruit: Openness to the Holy Spirit)
Lord, may I remember my baptismal vows to love and honor You in everything I do. Lord, may I listen to the call to repentance from all those who follow in the steps of John the Baptist.

We pray for those who have forgotten their baptismal promises, the Holy Spirit guides them back to their faith.

The Second Luminous Mystery
THE MIRACLE AT CANA
(Fruit: Find Jesus through Mary)
Lord, may Your miracles come upon those who truly need them so that we may all increase our faith in You. May I not ask for miracles to suit my worldly desires but instead see Your miracles as signs of Your presence in my life.

Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washings, each holding twenty to thirty gallons. (John 2:6)

Jesus told them, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them to the brim. (John 2:7)

Then He told them, “Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter.” So they took it. (John 2:8)

And when the headwaiter tasted the water that had become wine, without knowing where it came from (although the servers who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom and said to him, “Everyone serves good wine first, and then when people have drunk freely, an inferior one; but you have kept the good wine until now.” (John 2:9-10)

Jesus did this as the beginning of His signs in Cana in Galilee and so revealed His glory, and His disciples began to believe in Him. (John 2:11)

The Third Luminous Mystery
THE PROCLAMATION OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN AND THE CALL FOR CONVERSION
(Fruit: Repentance)
Lord, may I live in a constant state of conversion; always looking for ways I can better live according to Your teachings. Forgive me for the times I have focused more on worldly desires rather than the true happiness of Your Kingdom of Heaven.

The Fourth Luminous Mystery
THE TRANSFIGURATION
(Fruit: Desire for Holiness)
Lord, thank you for coming into this world as fully human so that we may form a personal relationship with You. May I never take Your teachings as mere guidance or philosophy from a learned teacher, but instead realize that these are the teachings of our Heavenly Father.

We pray that we rejoice that God so loved us that he humbled himself to be like one of us.

We pray that we make an effort to have a personal relationship with God since God tries to have a personal relationship with us through His son, Jesus Christ.

The Fifth Luminous Mystery
THE INSTITUTION OF THE EUCHARIST
(Fruit: Eucharistic Adoration)
Lord, increase my faith in Your true presence in the Holy Eucharist. May I never take the Eucharist for granted. May I have the awareness and humility not to receive You in an unworthy state of sin or with an unprepared heart.

We pray that we can look beyond what we can see and feel and have faith in the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
