THE ASSUMPTION

Lord, You chose Mary to bring You into this world, and hence She is the mother of all the faithful. May I listen to the guidance of the Holy Mother who only wants what is best for me – to one day join the angels and saints in Your Heavenly Kingdom.

We pray that we make time to pray regularly and ask Mary for her intercessions.

We pray that we read the scriptures as well as Church documents to learn and love the Catholic faith.

We pray that we make an effort to fast and offer my sacrifices to God.

We pray that we make time to receive the Sacrament of Confession to fully live in God’s grace.

We pray that we receive the Eucharist with a worthy soul free of mortal sin.

We pray for the spiritual awakening of those who do not pray.

We pray that we instill the desire to grow closer to God for those who have not learned their faith.

We pray for forgiveness for those times we've over indulged in earthly desires leaving no room for spiritual needs.

We pray for those who have not received the Sacrament of Reconciliation in a long time.

We pray for mercy on those who do not regularly receive the Eucharist or receive it in an unworthy state.
