THE CRUCIFIXION
FRUIT: SALVATION
Lord, remember me and have mercy on me, a poor sinner. May I not receive what I rightly deserve through my imperfect life, but instead receive Your mercy so that I may live with You in Heaven.
1
We pray that like the good criminal on the cross we ask Jesus to remember us in our prayers.
Hail Mary...
2
We pray that we show faith instead of asking Jesus to “prove himself” to us.
Hail Mary...
3
We pray that we express hope even in the darkest moments in our lives.
Hail Mary...
4
We pray for strength to imitate Jesus by offering our sufferings for the benefit of others.
Hail Mary...
5
We pray that we show love and forgiveness to those who hurt us.
Hail Mary...
6
We pray for the peace and conversion of all those consumed by hatred and jealousy.
Hail Mary...
7
We pray for those who have been treated unfairly, that they find comfort in Heaven.
Hail Mary...
8
We pray for the forgiveness of those who persecute your Church for “they know not what they do”.
Hail Mary...
9
We pray that we see the face of Jesus and be moved to compassion for those around us who suffer.
Hail Mary...
10
We pray that we have the strength to stand with the Church even amongst persecution.
Hail Mary...

Then he handed Him over to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus, and carrying the cross himself He went out to what is called the Place of the Skull, in Hebrew, Golgotha. (John 19:17)
Hail Mary...
2
There they crucified Him, and with Him two others, one on either side, with Jesus in the middle. (John 19:18)
Hail Mary...
3
Pilate also had an inscription written and put on the cross. It read, “Jesus the Nazorean, the King of the Jews.” (John 19:19)
Hail Mary...
4
Now many of the Jews read this inscription, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Latin, and Greek. (John 19:20)
Hail Mary...
5
Standing by the cross of Jesus were His mother and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. (John 19:25)
Hail Mary...
6
When Jesus saw His mother and the disciple there whom He loved, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold, Your son.” (John 19:26)
Hail Mary...
7
Then He said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took Her into his home. (John 19:27)
Hail Mary...
8
After this, aware that everything was now finished, in order that the scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I thirst.” (John 19:28)
Hail Mary...
9
There was a vessel filled with common wine. So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to His mouth. (John 19:29)
Hail Mary...
10
When Jesus had taken the wine, He said, “It is finished.” And bowing His head, He handed over the spirit. (John 19:30)
Hail Mary...
