THE FINDING IN THE TEMPLE
FRUIT: PIETY
Lord, may I always look for You in my prayers, actions, words, and thoughts. May everything I do be in an effort to move into a deeper communion and friendship with You. May the thought of losing Your grace strengthen me in resisting the temptation to sin.

We pray that we take the time to periodically examine our conscience and remember to confess our sins.

We pray that we make time to regularly receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and resolve not to commit the same sins again.

We pray for strength for those who are undertaking the difficult path of redemption from their sins.

We pray that we listen to God’s truth no matter how unlikely the source.

We pray that our Church leaders follow and faithfully exercise the teachings of Jesus Christ.

We pray for those who have not gone to confession in a long time, that they may find the courage and humility to become fully united with God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

We pray that we look towards our local parishes as a way of finding Jesus in “his father’s house.”

We pray that we imitate Jesus’ obedience to God by obeying the precepts of the Catholic faith.

Each year His parents went to Jerusalem for the feast of Passover, and when He was twelve years old, they went up according to festival custom. (Luke 2:41-42)

After three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions, (Luke 2:46)
